Psychotherapy
Find refuge from the madness
What is psychotherapy?
There are times in life when the ways we've learned to cope no longer seem to work. You may be struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing difficulties in relationships, coping with a loss, or simply feeling stuck without knowing why.
Psychotherapy offers a space to speak openly about your experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. While you may come to therapy seeking answers or practical ways to feel better, lasting change often comes from recognizing the experiences and patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others.
My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and thoughtful conversation. Together, we'll explore what's troubling you, how your past may be influencing your present, and what might be keeping you stuck. This may involve questioning familiar assumptions, exploring contradictions, and becoming curious about feelings that are difficult to acknowledge. There is room to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words, without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.
Ultimately, the goal of therapy is to help you suffer less and live more freely. Through greater self-understanding, you may find yourself better able to make meaningful choices, develop more satisfying relationships, and navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and trust in yourself.

Psychotherapy offers a confidential space to explore emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, and aspects of yourself you may not fully understand. Through thoughtful conversation, we work to develop greater awareness of the experiences and patterns that shape your life.

Our conversations may involve examining how past experiences influence your present, recognizing recurring patterns, and questioning familiar assumptions about yourself and others. Rather than focusing exclusively on solutions, we explore what lies beneath your difficulties and what might be keeping them in place.

Sessions typically take place once or twice a week. My approach is collaborative, curious, and nonjudgmental, with room to explore uncomfortable feelings, contradictions, and uncertainties. I won't presume to have all the answers, but I'll be actively engaged in helping you find greater understanding of yourself.
