ABOUT

I am a New York State-Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master’s of Science in Advanced Clinical Social Work from Columbia University in 2017. I have a certificate in Psychedelic Integration from Fluence; I am also a candidate at the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of Contemporary Freudian Society of New York.

I have experience working primarily with adolescents and young adults. My practice combines an appreciation for psychodynamics and psychoanalytic theory with a relational component. I have received training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, harm reduction, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and dream work. I believe that every treatment should be tailored to the needs of the individual, and no psychotherapy is the same. To that end, I encourage an open-ended, explorative approach to understanding the various internal conflicts that result in symptoms which compromise mental health.

I provide weekly and biweekly psychotherapy, as well as more intensive treatment including (3-5 times a week) psychoanalysis, for those who are interested in deeper levels of characterological change. I am trained to provide harm reduction and psychedelic integration for those who are looking to discuss, prepare for, and integrate psychedelic experiences.

While every treatment is different and there is no right or wrong way to be in therapy, I do encourage my clients to develop more curiosity towards themselves. I find that building in regular self-care in between sessions can enhance the effects of psychotherapy, and working towards a stronger and healthier relationship with oneself can go a long way.
